If you think you can answer YES then apply to us at Clark & Partners Ltd as we are seeking to appoint an Online Sales Coordinator who will oversee and coordinate all daily operations of our website and other online presence.

The post is based at our Head Office location in Handsworth, S13 9LS and our preference would be for full time standard hours of work Monday – Friday 8.30am-5.18pm (39hours), however we would also consider applications if you are looking to work a minimum of 30 hours over 5 days. It is likely that we can also offer some degree of home / flexible working for the right person as the role becomes established.

This interesting and challenging role provides for the complete management of the website from adding and amending product descriptions, images, prices etc to handling enquiries and orders coming from the site. So it’s not just about tapping the keys but also involves customer interaction and overseeing website order progress through internal activity to keep to delivery schedules and ensure a good service.

In addition there will be the background ‘technical’ aspects of online management as you will need to be able to work on ways to improve the visibility of our website, improving our profile and opening up new avenues. This will include being the lead on our social engagement, so Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Google+, etc. and whilst imitation is the best form of flattery you will also be checking for website duplication to ensure we are remaining unique.

As the role involves significant interaction with colleagues, customers and other external parties, communication both via email and verbally will need to be a particular strong point of yours. In addition a ‘can-do’, pragmatic approach to your work is essential along with the requirement to be willing and able to work in a flexible manner, ensuring that varied tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and within the relevant timeframes.

Training is available in house and subject to the skills and knowledge you already have could include any or all of the following:-

• All aspects of a world leading content management system (CMS) and an online eCommerce store.
• Writing good adverts based on keywords and current trends
• Manipulate images with a leading software package.
• Uploading our in house created videos and embed them into our product pages.
• Processing payments online
• Making use of analytic data, and produce reports based on this.
• Effectively engaging with the public on social media
• Product knowledge.

Although an individual role, you would be joining a well established, mixed gender office based team, working operationally in a pleasant open plan office environment.
