Negotiating outdoor steps to your front or back door at home without an access ramp is a common challenge. Often our customers are looking for a solution that is not a permanent fixture or affects the structure of their home. Our two ramping options offer a portable/temporary option and a temporary/permanent option.

Modular Access Ramps

Our modular ramping systems are designed to provide a temporary or permanent solution. Their modular style means they can be fitted quickly to your property but also easily removed if they are no longer needed.

The modular design means the ramp sections are connected to create the desired solution and design to fit your property whilst satisfying current building regulations. Minimal ground works coupled with space saving designs mean they can be a less intrusive long lasting access solution. Their design allows for quick installation but with very little effect on the home, when they are removed the home is still as it was before.  

Our systems are exceptionally robust and carry a 10 year manufacturer anti corrosion warranty. Their galvanised platform sections are designed to carry water away creating a non slip surface which will not freeze in winter. The handrails are offered in two colours, green or black depending on your preference and are virtually maintenance free.

Portable Access Ramping

Our range of portable ramps offers temporary access solutions. Our range has products which can help with access in and out of the home as well as getting mobility products, such as scooters and wheelchairs, in and out of vehicles.

When used for home access they can be laid in place to allow the user over a threshold or up a section of steps. They are often unable to be left in place, especially when there is a external door which needs closing.

Some of our range are easily transportable, the butterfly ramp for example, this offers a very easy access route into a home over a door threshold. Perfect for visiting friends and family.

Modular Ramp Solutions

For all modular ramping a home assessment is required. Our technical assessor will visit you at home to firstly go through your requirements, where you are currently struggling with access and why. We will survey the space, taking note of all measurements required at the entrance that you most require access. Sometimes we may suggest an alternative route if the space is not suitable for modular ramping.

Options

We will take you through all the options available, we will explain how it will be fitted to your home and what, if any, impacts it may have on your grounds. Then we will also consider other family members who require access as well as practicalities of outside access and locations of other items such as waste bins and recycling.

We will also consider other factors for example a door may have a high threshold entrance which may need replacing with a low level threshold to enhance the ease of access. We are able to provide a quotation for replacement doors as well.

Detailed Information

After assessments we create a CAD drawing, which give you a 2D site sketch showing the exact position and dimensions of the ramp. This is accompanied with a detailed quotation.

Installation is minimally intrusive and fast, often achievable in as little a 1 day.
